Rise Up Ministries International is a born from a charitable organization that was founded by myself in 1997. Starting as... Rose Kinners Foundation, I had begun a Prison Correspondence Ministry in 2009 which took off by storm. The prison ministry grew in leaps and bounds. I was overwhelmed at the rate at which this ministry grew, it had become evident that the two needed to be seperated in order to function effectively so, at the begining of 2010 I seperated the two, naming the other Ministry and by now a free Bible Correspondence College, "Rise Up Ministries".!
Rise Up Ministries was established when it out-grew Rose Kinners Foundation. It is a ministry that focusses on the lost, cast aside and down trodden within our society: abused women and children, homeless, destitute, street kids and prisoners needing to make a change... Hence the name Rise Up, this is a ministry of Restoration, Rehabilitation and Rebuilding.
I believe that we need to stop complaining about what is going on around us and try our best to be the difference that is needed. The destiny of our country, our communities and our families is within our own hands. I believe that we can make a change in this generation, leaving behind a brighter future for our children and other generations to follow.
In 2019, ten years after the inception of Rise Up, God has taken the ministry to another level. Again, I am surprised as to what God has done. In this year of 2019, Rise Up Ministries International has 11 divisions across the world. Divisions are in the following ares: Pakistan, India, Kenya, Sudan, Nigeria, Liberia and South Africa. The divisions host the following ministries: Churches, Orphanages, Homeless, Help for Widows, Street Kids, Rural Assistance, Prison Ministry and here in South Africa I ran the following ministries: Prison Correspondence Ministry and a Bible Correspondence College free to inmates in South Africa, I deal with Abused Women...helping them to rebuild their lives after a life of abuse, I work with Street Kids on drugs and help them get rehabilitated and back to school or work if they are old enough. I also do Mentorship, Life Coaching, Skills Development, Motivational Speaking, Counselling, etc. I am on other boards that share the same vision and purpose and I am Chairperson of a Women's Empowerment Group/NPO. I also Mentor Ministries as well. My aim is to Empower people as best as I can.
